Instructions for requesting deletion of a Trippia account, associated data, or specific data linked to your account.
How to request account deletion
If you wish to delete your Trippia account and associated data, please send a request to:
contact@trippiaapp.comIn your request, include the email address used to register in the app for verification purposes.
What happens when you delete your account
Upon verification, we will permanently delete:
- Account information.
- Saved trips and planning data.
- Usage-related data linked to your profile.
- Location-related data linked to your account, if such data was stored.
Deletion requests are processed within a reasonable time frame, typically within 14 days.
Request deletion of specific data
You may also request deletion of specific data associated with your Trippia account without deleting the entire account.
For example, you may ask us to delete:
- Saved trips.
- Trip planning data.
- Usage data linked to your profile.
- Location-related data linked to your account, if such data was stored.
- Other account-related data that can be identified and removed.
To request deletion of specific data, contact us at the email address above and describe which data you would like us to delete. Please include the email address used in the app so we can verify the request.
Please note
- Account deletion is irreversible.
- Deleting specific data may affect some app features, saved history, recommendations, or trip-related functionality.
- Certain information may be retained if required by law, for security purposes, fraud prevention, or to comply with legal obligations.
